1. Describe your role at reQuire and how long you have been with the team.
I joined reQuire in February 2021 as a temporary employee and had the opportunity to learn from my team before being formally hired in November 2021. I manage correspondence from lenders who come to us for help expediting their lien releases or identifying what is delaying releases. As I am the one who initially reaches out to lenders, I am the first point of contact in obtaining information that helps our team understand their needs. Our Release Tracking Team then handles communication between the lenders and our partners (i.e., clients). If the lender needs documentation, we’ll reach out to our partner for the documentation so that the lender can release the lien.
2. Give us an idea of what it’s like to work in your department.
Quite busy! Our days are never dull because of the incoming calls and emails from partners and lenders. The Release Tracking Team’s coordination is impressive. We all share the workload and are very supportive of one another so that nobody gets overburdened. We never feel unprepared because our Team Lead and Supervisor are constantly on our side and happy to help. I consider myself incredibly lucky to work in this setting, which makes my job easier and more fulfilling.
3. What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is hearing how happy our partners are that we were able to help clear a lien on the title. Their appreciation is what makes doing what we do so great!
4. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. If my fiancé and I aren’t being couch potatoes with our pup, Daisy, and cat, Halibut, we enjoy being on the water kayaking. I enjoy reading any kind of book but love thrillers. If I can put the book down, I like embroidery, which is still very new to me but so fun to do.
